AutoPark Reminder

Privacy Policy

Effective 4 July 2026 · Provider AFCONX · support@afconx.com

AutoPark Reminder runs entirely on your device with no account, no backend, and no tracking. Its App Privacy label is Data Not Collected.

This Privacy Policy explains how AutoPark Reminder handles personal data when you use the app.

AutoPark Reminder is designed to help you manage parking reminders and quickly access your preferred third-party parking app. The app is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party parking app.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is:

AFCONX

Email: support@afconx.com

2. Data the app processes

AutoPark Reminder processes the following data entirely on your device. It has no account and no backend server, so none of this data is sent to us or to anyone else:

  • your selected third-party parking app;
  • parking reminder and notification preferences;
  • your driving and parking detection history (timestamps only — no location coordinates are stored);
  • app settings and preferences.

This data stays in the app's on-device storage and is removed when you clear your history, reset the app, or delete it. If you email us for support, we process what you choose to send (see section 7).

AutoPark Reminder does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or sensitive personal data.

3. Location and parking data

AutoPark Reminder uses location and motion data to detect when you start driving and when you park, so it can trigger the right reminders. This detection runs on your device.

Location data is used only when you give permission through your device settings. It may be used to help you save or remember where you parked, create parking reminders, or open a relevant third-party parking app.

Location data is processed locally on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted off your device, or sold, and the app does not store your location coordinates.

You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

4. Notifications and reminders

AutoPark Reminder may ask for permission to send notifications.

Notifications are used to remind you about parking-related actions, such as checking, ending, or extending a parking session.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Reminders are provided as a convenience only. You remain responsible for your parking session, payment status, local parking rules, and any fees or fines.

5. Third-party parking apps

AutoPark Reminder may show names and icons of third-party parking apps so you can choose your preferred app. To show an app's icon, AutoPark Reminder requests it from Apple's public App Store service using only that app's public App Store identifier — no personal data, location, or device identifiers are sent.

AutoPark Reminder does not own, control, or operate these third-party apps.

When you open or use a third-party parking app, that app’s own privacy policy and terms apply. AutoPark Reminder is not responsible for how third-party apps process your data.

AutoPark Reminder does not sell information about your selected parking app.

AutoPark Reminder does not send, log, or track which third-party parking apps are installed on your device for advertising, analytics, ranking, or paid placement purposes.

AutoPark Reminder does not detect which parking apps are installed on your device. When you choose an app, it is opened directly on your device.

6. Analytics and diagnostics

AutoPark Reminder does not use any analytics, tracking, or diagnostics SDKs, and does not collect usage data.

If you have turned on Apple's system-level “Share With App Developers” setting, Apple may share anonymised crash reports with us through App Store Connect. This is controlled entirely by your device settings, not by the app, and you can turn it off at any time under Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements.

7. Support communication

If you contact us for support, we may process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, device information, and issue details.

This data is used only to respond to your request, investigate bugs, improve the app, and keep records where necessary.

8. Legal bases for processing

If the GDPR applies, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • your consent, for example for notifications or location access;
  • performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the app features you use;
  • legitimate interests, such as improving app reliability, preventing misuse, responding to support requests, and maintaining security;
  • legal obligations, where we are required to keep or disclose certain information by law.

9. How long we keep data

Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app.

Support emails and related communication may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, resolve disputes, improve the app, or comply with legal obligations.

10. Sharing data

AutoPark Reminder does not sell or share your personal data. Because everything is processed on your device and there is no backend, there is no data for us to share with advertisers, data brokers, or service providers.

We would only disclose information if legally required to do so — for example, in response to a valid legal request relating to a support email you have sent us.

11. International transfers

AutoPark Reminder processes your data only on your own device, so no international data transfer takes place. Any support email you send is handled through your and our own email providers under their respective terms.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

However, no app, device, network, or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and using strong device-level protection.

13. Children

AutoPark Reminder is not intended for children under 13 years old.

If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to:

  • be informed about how your data is used;
  • access your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • request data portability;
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@afconx.com.

If you are in the Netherlands, you may also contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

15. Device permissions

You can manage app permissions through your device settings, including:

  • notifications;
  • location;
  • motion and fitness;
  • background activity;
  • cellular data;
  • Siri or Shortcuts, if supported.

Disabling permissions may limit some app features.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The latest version will be made available in the app or through another suitable location. If changes are important, we will make reasonable efforts to inform users.
